Exposing the Sacred Name Heresy: Another Gospel Straight from Hell
Exposing the Sacred Name Heresy: Another Gospel Straight from Hell
A strong caution must be issued regarding the gatekeeping of the narrow path through an insistence on modern interpretations of ancient Hebrew script, which is a central error of the Sacred Name heresy.
Are we kept from His grace and mercy by a petty insistence on the phonetics of fanatics?
Certainly not. All who will may come, not just those who pronounce His name a specific way.
One of His many symbolic names is the Rose of Sharon. Would a rose called by any other name not smell as sweet?
Indeed, He gives us permission to call Him Daddy, Abba, Father.
Consider the vast moral distance between us and God. He is infinitely less petty, far more gracious, and immeasurably more loving than any earthly parent. If a human father joyfully embraces an infant who uses a nickname or stumbles to pronounce his name, how much more will the Father in heaven embrace anyone who looks on Him with love and holy fear? Yet, He is a good Father, willing to adopt any who receive Him through the willing sacrifice of His Son.
To suggest that He does not avail Himself to those who recognize Him by His heart, by His ways, by His titles, and by His person, simply because they do not know how to properly pronounce His name as it was delivered in the Hebrew language, which is not God’s language, but another language of man susceptible to change over time, runs right past the border of absurd, into the heart of hell and the darkness of absurdity, and it is a lie and a distraction from the truth.
This perversion of scripture is nothing less than another gospel straight from hell, manufactured to twist the simplicity of Christ into a snare of human legalism.
