What if biblical confidence isn’t about pretending we’ve already arrived, but resting in the authority of God's Word while remaining teachable?
I am confident in the Scriptures. My conviction isn't rooted in personal arrogance, but in the full counsel of God—reading Scripture in context, comparing text with text, and letting the whole truth speak. Yet, having confidence in God’s clear answers is not the same as claiming self-perfection or complete mastery. To claim we have no area left to be refined or corrected is simply self-deception.
Far too often, people approach Scripture to defend a position rather than submit to the truth—isolating single verses, ignoring context, and relying on logical fallacies just to prove they were already right.
My goal is different. I stand firmly on clear biblical context, but I welcome honest, text-driven challenge. I want to handle the Word with conviction, engage deeply, and remain willing to let Scripture sharpen my understanding.
Not driven by dogmatic pride.
Rooted in the Word, refined in truth.
